Fool of the bargain

False the heavens have been,
Your gods , they lie ,
A summer but I have seen.
A few doors away I was,

The doors are now barred,
In graves the past interred.

And the lonenly heart sings,
No fires do my eyes see,
In cold do I sleep without,
Yes I have paid my fee.
